Blockchain of tomorrow, here today!
We believe in creating a distributed network that is truly useful in people's lives, that protects their data and information, and is truly decentralized.
Prometeo blockchain decentralized for everyone

For B2C applications, we plan to release our decentralized network in Q4 2022. Our open-source network will support receiving and using data from all IoT systems without using any third-party cloud service. With our technology, it will be possible to access a variety of very wide and varied applications, from the simple transfer of assets such as tokens or NFTs to the reception of IoT data, the creation of smart contracts for the management of devices up to the sharing of data in real time with different types of users.
230k
Transactions per second
Our network uses an innovative consent mechanism optimized to process many messages.
1,3s-2s
Time for confirmation
The confirmation time of the single transaction is optimized to make the confirmation as fast as possible, maintaining the highest security standards.
P2P
P2P Group
Our network uses a node-level P2P logic with the change of members at each transaction; this logic allows us to have shared truthfulness and an optimized confirmation without putting the nodes in competition and without allowing a single node to close a block independently.
Proof of Unity the mechanism for the future
Why Prometeo and why now?
With the increase of IoT systems and digital devices in our lives, our security and privacy risks have increased. Prometeo is on a mission to build a connected world where everyday people will own their data, devices, and identity. Harnessing the power of the distributed ledger network, Prometeo unlocks the potential of smart devices/data and empowers a new generation of real-world Dapps and digital assets.
What are the problems in IoT today?
Obviously, the Internet of Things boasts both positive and negative aspects. Using connected systems has a huge advantage, but it also gives rise to deficits of a different nature in terms of privacy and security, as well as maintenance and, therefore, costs. This means that to be so responsive to commands and needs; they must 'spy' on the people who use them. In essence, if this information falls into the wrong hands, it is a gold mine because it contains every detail of life, which is a direct window into people's privacy. IoTs store this data, which can be attacked by hackers and computer pirates who can encrypt and steal very personal information. In many cases, as it has been shown, hackers can easily bypass security systems as many systems are not even that well protected, as the Shodan search engine shows.
State of art today
The meaning of IoT goes far beyond the simple definition and translates into concrete: the IoT goes beyond intelligent objects and takes on a full meaning in the network that interconnects these objects. The examples of the Internet of Things, in this sense, are countless. Just think of cars, initially made connected "only" via GPS-GPRS boxes for insurance purposes and which today leave the factories already equipped with on-board connectivity. Or at home, where we have witnessed the evolution from "only" wired home automation to wireless solutions that are increasingly within everyone's reach, characterized by cloud services and the growing use of Artificial Intelligence. Or again think of the factory, an area in which IoT technologies are contributing both in terms of system intelligence distribution. To give even simpler examples of IoT let's think of the very common street lamps of our cities, able to adjust their brightness based on the visibility conditions, or of the traffic lights that synchronize to create a green wave for the passage of an emergency vehicle . All this is the Internet of Things!

A Decentralized network for everyone

Ikarus is our distributed network designed specifically for industrial and non-industrial uses where digital sensors, IoT systems, and GPS Trackers are required. Ikarus allows you to use a distributed network that will enable you to save your data, encrypt them, and certify their origin and truthfulness. We aim to provide a reliable network that protects against hacker attacks.
+350
Device supported
Already compatible with our blockchain more than a thousand devices ready to be used for different purposes.
23
Different parameters
Over 23 different parameters already recognizable and usable for already compatible devices.
30
Different protocol
Already available 130 different protocols already compatible with our blockchain and compatible with different types of sensors and uses.
IKARUS API
IKARUS integrates with users’ in-house systems via proprietary, publicly available APIs that are designed for ease of set-up and use.
Share and use Real-time data
APIs enable real-time data transfer between supply chain participants via publish, subscribe, query and smart contract share functions.
Reduce EDI Costs
Reduce EDI maintenance costs with a family of standard APIs for real-time data transfer between supply chain partners.
Dollars saved in a day
Spur innovation at all levels of your IT division by unlocking creative energies formerly locked up in EDI set-up and operation.
IKARUS NETWORK
Network distribuited
Ikarus uses a new kind of distribuited ledger based on DAG logic.
Privacy and Immutability
Ikarus uses a permissioned blockchain to offer immutability, privacy, and traceability of data origin.
A trusted network
Unlike open, anonymous blockchains like those used for cryptocurrencies, on the Ikarus network, members are “Trust Anchors” and known to the network based on cryptographic identities.
IKARUS PERMISSIONED DATA
Strict and secure
A tight and highly secure permissions system is in place to guarantee that only the relevant parties have access to certain types of information.
Permissions in Ikarus
Permissions in Ikarus are defined by a mix of the organization's role and the data type. The Ikarus platform then grants data access based on an uniform authorization matrix..
Data sharing
Ikarus permit to sharing all kinds of data (GPS positioning, IoT data and documents attached) with other users on network with special smart contract.
At the heart of the platform is a sophisticated permissions-based system that allows parties to share, view, edit, and use data from different sensors.
